About the original:
I painted Florence Skyline / the Duomo as part of my collaboration with a local travel agent, creating destination artwork inspired by her clients’ travels. I wanted this piece to capture the unmistakable silhouette of Florence — especially Brunelleschi’s dome — while keeping the loose, sketchbook-like quality of a memory brought home from a trip.
