About the original:
I painted Ponte Vecchio as part of my collaboration with a local travel agent, creating destination artwork inspired by her clients’ travels. I loved the bridge’s jumble of colorful buildings and centuries-old architecture, and wanted to capture the warm, slightly imperfect charm that makes this corner of Florence feel as though it belongs in another time.
